Merry Meet everyone!
I know I haven't posted nearly as much as I have wanted to but I wanted to share something with you all.
Back at the end of November, I bought myself a set of amethyst Elder Futhark runes as I had an incomplete rose quartz set (I was gifted these almost 10 years ago by a friend who said she'd seen them in a shop but I had to have them).
The rune Dagaz somehow got lost in my home - I did look everywhere for it but I figured it would turn up again if it chose to.
So I acquired the amethyst set, used them happily and even got another set recently in a subscription box (more about this on another post). I've used both sets without any guilt apart from the occasional thought of whether rose quartz Dagaz would reappear.
I've got a new kitten and took her to the vets for her first injections and when I got home, I found something extraordinary.
On the floor next to my sofa, where I keep my handbag when I don't need it, was the missing rose quartz rune Dagaz. It was in plain view but in an area that has been cleaned and tidied several times over since last November.
Dagaz is the rune for the letter D and in its simplest definition, means day or dawn. From this it cna mean that a breakthrough or an awakening is coming that leads to an awareness. Having daylight clarity instead of night-time uncertainty. Dagaz can signify that it's the time to plan or start up an enterprise. It can also mean that the power of change and transformation is being directed by your own will. Dagaz is the balance point, the place where opposites meet. It can also represent hope and happiness as the ideal. Dagaz can mean security and certainty as well. It can also signify that there has been growth while things that no longer serve you have been released.
It's an interesting rune to say the least because I've been considering a fair few options recently that I'm now going to decide on. As well as this, about a month ago, I had a past life reading which confirmed that I was a Druid priestess but my power was abused by someone I was enthralled by. I was told previously by a friend that I had ties to Avalon and was a Keeper of the Mists so this just made so much sense - also I love the Arthurian legends and have a few books on Druidism.
I'm planning some personal changes in the coming days and months that should be quite exciting! As well as wanting to actually properly share my journey with Witchcraft.
Stay safe and blessed be!!
