Following on from the Triple Aspect meeting, there were some exercises and journal prompts within the resources provided in the Priestess Path course that I want to explore. I won't explore them all as some of them are very personal and bring back memories that I'm not ready to share publicly.
First, I sat with my lists of associations with the Aspects before writing a poem encompassing all three in one. I did have the option of writing one poem for each Aspect but I wanted to include them all in one because they are all present within me.
She is at the
start of her life,
full of the joys
of youth and enthusiasm
for learning new things.
And then she changed.
She starts to teach
others, nurturing their need
for knowledge but also
protecting them, comforting them,
and being their confidante.
Then she changed again.
She finds true wisdom,
giving nourishment to all,
becoming an elder, healer,
wise woman, and hermit,
rediscovering freedom and Source.
Then she found peace.
While this poem does focus on the more "positive" parts of each aspect, there is always a shadow side - Shadow Work is the topic right after Sacred Sensuality and I'm really looking forward to this.
This is a much shorter post but it definitely got me really thoughtful about everything so it's taken me slightly longer to get things expressed through words. I hope my next few posts will be longer and more detailed.
